Thank you to everyone who responded. I finally got it off but I literally had a pipe wrench biting into the aluminum and had to squeeze and turn with all I had.
Once I got the console lifted up, the upper reverse collar had came out of the lower collar (I’m sorry if I don’t have the terminology correct). And the lower collar had rotated some. So I addressed those 2 things and all is working as it should.
I agree that the ones that are “really” on there, are not coming off without damage. I mean, I had to bite into the aluminum and even that was sketch. And I did apply heat before and after it got to that point.
