no what I’m saying is the entire assembly changed and it’s installed differently. This happened midway through the 2017 model year and I now have the new style. So what you’re describing no longer applies to me.Its a torque wrench. Try harbor freight for a cheapo version. I wouldn't trust the dealership. They don't use torque wrenches on oil filters. This is the only car that is very specific that the filter must be torqued correctly, but the techs don't bother.
