So as some of you vendors and members may know my Mustang popped a head gasket and had other problems, this was due to the stock crank pulley walking and causing the car to detonate. No warranty at all but Ford was informed and they are taking action. Thanks to Steve @UPR and a few others who have been helpful a long the way and were not done yet. But the car now is getting some internal upgrades. HPJperformance who is doing the build will be installing an NX wet kit as well with some other goodies on the car to handle the upped power. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for being very helpful and excited to see if she is gonna go or blow haha . The car should be fired up today after a month of waiting then its on to getting the Nitrous done, some other engine mods and suspension, setting up the dyno date. But I will keep everyone informed with pics of the Nitrous setup installed. Some parts will be available for purchase this summer that work with the NX kit. I will also post up vids while were at the dyno! What a great way to spend 5 grand on a new car due to Fords f+ck up. I will be happy if we can make it 3-4 months on spray and im happy to be the test mule for everyone even though its not on a stock longblock anymore. If she blows sooner we will be ready with a spare lol.

It will smoke constantly, oil will be watered down after short mileage and smell, coolant will be slightly low, should have slight misfire....Plugs will be fouled out after a short time. The best thing to start with is check timing and do a leak down test to see if it is leaking between cylinders.

No warranty...... But ford engineers know about my issue since HPJ documented everything on video and with pictures before the motor was torn apart they are sending someone out to verify everything. It was a failure on Fords part. We think this is what has been causing the head gaskets to fail with low miles and the design of them sucks. They are more likely to leak between cylinders under pressure as well due to design.

I made sure to have my crank and cams pinned when I had my engine built. something to keep in mind for those building their motors.

A ticking time bomb ;)
would oil leaking from this side of the engine be a symptom?
