Shelby kit for ecoboost???

So i was at the Ford dealership today inquiring about bolt-on modifications and warranty, and the guy i was dealing with (finance manager) told me that Shelby is coming out with an ecoboost kit which will include a CAI, catback exhaust and a tune for around $2500. He said all of this will be covered under warranty.

This is the first time i've heard about a shelby upgrade kit. Anyone else??

It's been a s video on YouTube for a while, it has the Shelby hood and body kit and aparantley is only like an extra 20hp and it's insanely ridiculous exspensive!

Shelby has never done kits before, they do have a complete car conversion based on the Ecoboost though.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding his post, is he talking about kits of the Shelby ecoboost?

I have a feeling he meant the Ford Racing mods. They could easily package a few things together and sell to ecoboost owners. The warranty-safe thing is pretty attractive. Correct me if i'm wrong, the ford racing tune was supposed to come out end of 2015 and hasn't yet?

I want to hear about the mountune I was just on the site they sell the Accessport with a tune loaded. I couldn't find if they charge for a etune

Shelby American did come out with a bolt-on modifications for the ecoboost mustang, but it ain't worth the money to do it. If you want to buy an exhaust and CAI, but want to keep your warranty in tact, then buy from ford racing or roush. If you want the exhaust from Shelby, go to Borla as the exhaust they use is the Borla Atak mufflers. I work at Gaudin Ford in Las Vegas and we sell a lot of Shelby vehicles. A lot of them holds disclaimers of once you bring it to Shelby American, your warranty is usually voided. Now, the only thing I'm not sure of, Shelby American buys several of our stock Mustang GT, then they convert it to super snake, and they resell it. I'm not sure if the original warranty still implies for those vehicles. They don't purchase any Ecoboost Mustang, they made it where if a customer does want a Shelby Ecoboost Mustang, then they will purchase one from our dealership, or they would have the customer purchase the car and bring it to them.
