Shelby GT Ecoboost!?

So, the EBM is getting a Shelby package with all the works. Bigger brakes, sway bars, carbon fiber hood and skirts, lower height, 25 more HP.... 335 horsepower at the crank. All to the tune of $23K (plus the price of the car) :doh:, or somewhere around there.

It looks good, but I'll pass.

Around 51K+ depending on the starting EBM....I can think of quite a few much better (faster) ways of spending 50K.

Exactly my thoughts. For that money, one could almost get a GT350.
51K is steeeep! But I know, and Shelby knows, some people just have cash to burn.

A lot of money for a lot of nothing.

Could get a GT + supercharger + enough money to drive it around for a few months.

Could insanely pimp out your ecoboost.

Could get a used GT-R

Could get a lot of stuff that wont give you just 20HP, a snake badge and an ugly hood.

A Shelby rep had one of these at a local Cars and Coffee meet. It wasn't my cup of tea but they said they mostly designed it for the overseas market because of the price of gas and evvironmental regulations. The spoiler looked nice but it is way too expensive for me.

This is the same crap Audi did with "S Line", and Volvo did with "R Design". Comapnies are taking performance monikers like S, R, and now Shelby and slaping them on a car with a few mostly cosmetic changes, just so they can cash in.

Problem is, there are suckers that buy them.

the extra power for this ridiculously expensive car isn't even from a real tune, it comes with a JMS BoostMAx box. bwahahaha
I'm not hating on JMS but come on Shelby!
