There is actually data on the colors of forum owned vehicles. This is for 21-23 MY.

Twister Orange: 2 cars, 1%
Grabber Yellow: 6 cars, 2%
Velocity Blue: 9 cars, 4%
Shadow Black: 20 cars, 8%
Iconic Silver: 21 cars, 8%
Fighter Jet Gray: 98 cars, 39%
Race Red: 5 cars, 2%
Oxford White: 20 cars, 8%
Grabber Blue: 28 cars, 11%
Eruption Green: 13 cars, 5%
Dark Matter Grey: 12 cars, 5%
Mischievous Purple: 11 cars, 4%
Cyber Orange: 2 cars, 1%

It is said Race Red is the “least common” color because it was offered across all three MY’s, yet still only coming in at 5 cars total (including my own ). Where as Twister Orange and Cyber Orange were only offered one MY.

FJG has by far the most cars across all MY’s.

Those look great, mischievous purple as well. I honestly think they hit it out of the park with all colors offered. There isn’t one I wouldn’t take, I just ended up with Race Red based on how I wanted the car optioned and what I could find!

I almost gave up on Volisity Blue, after 6 months. I did find 2 prior to finding my Mach , they had to many miles .
Wd95 low miles FJG nice Car , one of my buddies has FJG HP , the other Iconic silver Base , and me w Volisity Blue.

So I was correct. There's only 98 FJG cars and 149 of the other colors.

Yep, I have one of those 13, mine with HP. I really wanted Twister Orange, but Ford couldn't deliver it for the 2021 MY.

It’s going great out here my friend. The weather hasn’t been cooperating like in the past being so cold but I figure I got jinxed by coming here but it’s warming up into the 80s lately. Going to some car shows and joined the Daytona Mustang Club.

Nothing I’ve ever seen and if there was a list it would be on this forum. That list that’s posted is an unofficial guess until something comes out from Ford so we are all waiting.

Sadly I don’t think we have full production data as of yet. Though I think we should have it eventually in a few years. That list was put together from forum members who registered their cars in the Mach 1 registry on here!

If we could get about 400 data points, we would have a pretty good picture of actual production breakdown on color. At least with a 95% confidence level.
