If u can afford a beater do it, but I am planning on a Mustang V6. Gonna have to keep telling myself it's not a Ferrari, but it's hard, it IS a "Ferrari" to many of us. It's all relative. We work hard for our money and love it just as much as a millionare loves a Ferrari, probably more in some cases.

Agreed. There's a fine line between wanting to take care of your vehicle and protect it versus putting 10 miles a year on it like Darren Ultrakla$$ic . Just because our 35k Mustang is not a Ferarri doesn't mean we can't treat it like one.

Mine has 23 miles on it now. Guess I'm done for 2-1/2 years now and you'll STILL be waiting on your '16 to arrive CompO5.sl0w!!!:headbang::lol:

Got a beater, 93 Honda Accord with 237K on it. Got it a year and a half ago for 1200.00. Put very little into it. Work on it myself, just the cost of parts really easy to work on and cheap. My biggest expense will be tires for this winter. About 225.00 for four. Put them on at work for nothing. Winters here in VA are not horrible compared to what I'm used to in NJ. But I know what salt does to a car and don't care for that to happen to my mustang. Other than that I drive it like its meant to be driven. Right now there is construction at my dealership and road construction in front of my dealership. So the beater gets taken to work everyday at the moment regardless of weather. And it's always good to have an extra car.

You're driving a Ford, not a Ferrari

While I have a daily driver, I don't treat my car like it's a fucking Enzo.
Maybe his Ford is a fucking Ferrari to him
