Hey guys, I'm toying around with the idea of picking up a daily/winter beater to use when I can't drive the 5.0 (inclement weather, street parking, mid-modding, etc.).

Basically, I'm looking for an older FWD/AWD car to use that is cheap & reliable.

The budget is $2,000 - $3,000. With just some basic craigslist searches, I found quite a few cars in that price range!

Any suggestions, tips, etc.? What cheap beaters do you guys drive when you're not in the 'stang?

My company car is an equinox so I drive it 90% of the time anyway. When it snows I drive my 91 4x4 Toyota pickup.

I have an '06 accord for snow duty, but any older civic or accord would make a good winter beater

My company car is also an Equinox. If it snows, I'm staying at home lol
