I must be the only one that thinks my £795 on Pro and Sat Nav was a waste of money.

The sound system is not a patch on my 1998 3 series BMW with its original speakers and a £200 head with iPod integration.

The Sync 2 is horribly clunky and difficult to control on the move. What's wrong with buttons that you can feel and not look at. The Sat Nav is obviously not a patch on Google and takes forever for inputs thanks to that shitty system.

If anyone ever offers a Sync delete with a panel of toggle switches I will be first in the queue lol.

I've found the sat nav a little bit of a pest to be honest, My house is named, it's impossible to find on the nav, I just have it go to near the road - granted, once I get to my village I know the way.

But it's finding the quirks of the nav out, like, sometimes a postcode will send you to the wrong place. I'd love for all navs to just be like google maps and I could say 'GO to - Here' and it'll take me there, rather than writing a post code down... But hey-ho, such is life.

The 'Warning' feature is good for speed cams

That's why Sync 3 is such an improvement as you can use your phone apps and use the car controls to input. Sure you can play the voice though Bluetooth on Sync 2 but it's not the same.

Thinking back to my order planning, I think I just got caught up in the 'I want every option' thing! Now there's a Navigation solution with Sync 3, it just leaves the audio upgrade. I'm sure I'll be listening to the V8 more :-)

This much is true. A good number of the cars on the NC500 turned up at a B&B up a lane in Kinlochbervie. By the end the guy new where he was sending us...

I agree, the Shaker system is very poor. I went for the custom pack, but have to say all the options are rubbish. The sound quality of the Shaker system leaves a lot to be desired. Its not remotely hi-fi.

Yep, have to put the specific address on, or if it's a hotel, go through that route, if it's a place of interest, that route, if it's a pub, that route etc etc,

I'd love to just do it like google maps lol

And that's supposedly the advantage of Sync 3

My MY17 should be at my dealers within a couple of weeks. I think there was a ship before mine that should get my17s in the uk next week.

Well soon know how sync 3 works, I'm hoping Apple play does work!

Don't you worry about that, I'll be spamming this forum for days!!

Still yet to find another GB order. I'm thinking it'll be one of the first into the Uk. I live near The dock so will be down there with a telephoto lens trying to find the Mustangs and seeing if there is any other GBs waiting!
