How good are you guys finding it, as mine is very quite, have it on full blast and its hardly loud, also I find it does not have much bass. Does it get any better if you don't blue tooth from your phone or is there a problem with mine

Some tracks I've downloaded on USB are on the quiet side, but this is not a quiet system. There is some adjustment in the settings, also, have you tried all the formats? CD/USB etc?

Well that was a easy cure, when playing music on the phone volume is flat out, but when it connects to the car it turns the volume down to nearly nothing, what a bloody difference it makes with the volume turned up on the phone, been pressing all the buttons on the car for ages  as I new the phone was flat even tried increasing the volume on the phone while driving but made no difference till you unlocked the phone

glad you got it fixed!

I believe there is some EU legislation about volume on mobile devices these days hence when you connect to something, it turns the volume down for you - which is ever so helpful!

EU oot etc.

i have the bass and treble turned up full and the middle turned up 3 and the bass vibrating in the rear view mirror, i always found with any ford sound system that it was always best to turn up bass and treble in the settings

Jimboy has a point, when streaming music through your phone, if you have your phone on low settings, it wont actually play loudly on the audio system, you need to up it whilst it's on bluetooth.

As for standard settings on the system, you can mess witht he sound, to actually have the sound mainly balanced towards the front of the cabin, than the back, i don't use that personally, however it's worthwhile if you're struggling to hear.

Bass only really kicks when you bring it, and the treble up, and as someone else mentioned, the rear view mirror begins to shake - mine does at 3 bars under the 1/2 way mark!
