I had ceramic put on professionally - looks amazing and still after 1 year, perfect.

Since I had the ceramic on it, I've been using P&S Beadmaker as a drying aid with a super plush 70/30 MF (anything else scratches) on the entire car after every wash due to the spotting with the crappy water (2-4 times per month). I've been finding lately that it smears really bad (which I've read about) - but it doesn't always happen, or I have to really rub on the paint to get it not to smear. I use it on my white and silver trucks but you can't see the smearing, so I don't notice.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there something better I can top the ceramic with on a black car? I only dry with an airforce blower (no towels) and this is the only time I touch the paint with microfiber.

Had similar issues with Beadmaker, the Obsessed Garage Drying Aid plays nice with most coatings minus the smears & static.
Thank you!! Going to order some now. Didn't realize he started making his own (originally found beadmaker from his suggestion)...haven't been on his website in awhile.

I use Duragloss products and like their Aquaewax when drying....but...I blow most water off with a Metropolitan Master Blaster. Very helpful for getting water out of moldings, etc...

Beadmaker has this effect on darker colors, unfortunately. I struggle with it on Kona especially. I've been blaming it on buildup because I use it at every wash. Starting to get interested in looking for a replacement because of this, since I now have two dark colored cars. I love how it looks and feels but the streaking sucks. I do get some relief by skipping washes.

P&S Bead Maker is known to do this, although I have only experienced it a couple of times.

What is most likely happing is a build up of the product from using it each and every wash.

For this reason, P&S released Dream Maker last year.

Dream Maker contains no protection, it's purely a gloss enhancer that can be used as a drying aid or on clean, dry paint.

I actually prefer P&S Paint Gloss over Dream Maker as it's more forgiving to use. This a traditional quick detailer so it does not contain a sealant like Bead Maker, however it does provide excellent lubrication and gloss.

I can also say that OG Drying Aid is more forgiving to use than Bead Maker, although I think Bead Maker has the edge on gloss.

I would recommend getting either Paint Gloss or Dream Maker and alternating it's use with Bead Maker to help avoid the build up of protection, and therefore the streaking.

I ordered the paint gloss...the dream maker seems like more for a liquid to put on the paint. I was looking for more gloss, especially on black....interested to see if it picks up more or less dust vs the beadmaker....that back end is dusty after 1 drive.

I agree, I love how it works, but on the hood especially it gets bad (probably because I put so much on it)

OG Drying Aid is similar to xtreme solutions “topper” - recommend purchasing a gallon & a pressol bottle. You will use more product than a typical Beadmaker session. Solid product! I’m actually trying out OG Drying Aid in the Solo powered USB charged sprayer - it’s pretty unique.

I actually struggle a bit with Dream Maker, I have found it very finicky. Choosing Paint Gloss was the correct choice.

Due to the anti-static properties, Paint Gloss does not have the dust attraction problem of Bead Maker.

I think if you alternate between Paint Gloss and OG Drying Aid, you should solve the streaking issues.

B&B Blending make the OG Drying Aid, something Matt has been pretty honest with from the beginning.

The B&B product name is "Slipstream". Compared to Xtreme Solutions Topper, the OG version has the scent and coloring removed.

B&B Blending also own the Adam's brand, the Adam's version is called "Slick & Slide" and is yellow in color with a "Hawaiian Punch Scent".
