I have used more drying aid products than I care to admit!

The concept of a drying aid is provide lubrication while using a towel to dry your car. In the process, you add extra gloss and protection to your paint.
The new Obsessed Garage Drying Aid replaces Bead Maker in their store as the preferred drying aid. Having used Bead Maker extensively, to replace it, a product would need to be pretty special. While many have had issues with Bead Maker, including streaking and dusting, I never really suffered such problems. I believe climatic conditions play their role here, clearly I have the right climate.
The Obsessed Garage Drying Aid is a colorless and scent free product, although it does have a similar chemical smell to something like CarPro EliXir. The lack of scent does take some of the fun out of using it, but the lack of scent and color is said to prevent staining of towels and bottles. This product can be used on painted surfaces, plastic trims, head lights, glass and wheels.
My process for drying a car is to use my blower to remove 90-95% of the water before going over the car with a towel and drying aid. To do this, prime the towel with a few sprays of product, a few sprays on the panel and wipe till dry and glossy.
Using this product for the first time, I was immediately impressed with how easy it was to use, requiring little in the way of follow up wiping. So impressed, I have been using on the wheels, door jambs and engine bay too.
The end result is not quite as glossy and slick as Bead Maker, probably about 90%, but a much easier product to use.
Only problem for me is the cost of getting it delivered to Australia.
