Hey guys, so thank you guys so much for all your help through this car-buying process for me.

As you guys know, I returned that mustang due to the shady dealership, and I also decided it was against my best interest to get a potentially-unreliable cop car.

Instead, I decided to try to find some middle ground, and today, I purchased a 2015 Ford Fusion Titanium with AWD for $10,750 CAD ($8,437.59 USD)

Has 102,000km on it. (63.3K miles),, No accidents

I bought it privately and think I got a really good price on it. It drives real nice and has 2 more years of full maintenance service coverage through Ford. (So it's always been a well serviced vehicle).

Thing is loaded with features....all of the trimmings of the titanium trim

AWD will be a godsend for these Canadian winters as well. I hope to get a mustang soon, but not yet.....need a bit more financial flexibility to afford a summer car as a toy (wont be very practical during these winters)

Thoughts?

i had a 2014 fusion titanium, that I drove from alabama to California when I got stationed in cali. Great car, loved it. I ended up trading it for a 2012 mustang gt but enjoyed it the year or two I had it.

seems like a good price for a nice car too.

Fusions are a solid cars, I'm on my third with a 2017 Titanium company car. Check out http://www.2gfusions.net/ for good info on the Gen 2 Fusions.

my buddy had one, it was a piece of you know what, had a lot of warranty issues, he had to get rid of it before the warranty ran out, he couldnt trust it. Good luck with yours.

My wife has a '14 RR Titanium in the garage. Her dream car of the moment.
That 4dr sedan is a friggn blast to drive. I can pull away from all but the best performance cars on the road. 112K trouble free miles. It's our DD. If it had a 3rd pedal it'd be near perfect. :)

enjoy

I have a Fusion, I did have to replace the engine with 93k on it. I went ahead and paid Ford $5800 to do it, plus the new engine has a 3 year Ford warranty. I figured that was cheaper than buying another every day car.

Good choice! I drive a 2014 Fusion SE (2.5L). I bought it in 2015 and it now has over 210000km on it. Daily commuter. The car has been solid. I had an issue with a lower ball joint early on and it was fixed under warranty then that same ball joint failed a year later. Had to pay out of pocket for the second one and I didn't have Ford fix it. I think the dealer F'd up the 1st replacement. The only other maintenance I have done (by me) is brakes and spark plugs. It's time for a belt replacement next.
The car handles winter driving very, very well and I have a good set of winter tires on it. You have AWD so you're going to be better off with winter tires on yours!
Good luck with your new car.

We have three Fusions in our family, a hybrid and two Energi's. Great cars. And I have told numerous other's to look into purchasing one. I can think of four off hand that did (ran into one this morning who thanked me). All are happy with their Fusion.

I had a 2013 loaded SE with the big 2.0T motor. Basically a Titanium without the fancy taillights. It was decently quick, looked good, drove nicely and never gave me any issues. I did use a bore-scope to look at the carbon build-up on the intake valves since it's a direct injection only turbo motor. It looked a little yucky at 20k but not worth addressing yet. Just keep an eye on that and the rest should be good to you.
