Service Booklet

So I collected my new Mustang today and it's brilliant. I have an owners manual with it but no service booklet where you get the service stamps, is this normal or am I missing it?

Check the little secret compartment in the roof of the glovebox.

You should get one. I didn't, so they sent me one with no stamp for the PDI. So then they sent another. Everything will be held electronically on their systems but I like to have a paper copy. Especially useful if you use independent garages for service.

Yeah, it's just a standard Ford booklet, not specific to any vehicle or model.

After being told "we'll pop one in the post", which they didn't obviously, I was finally told last week, that if I wanted one, it's a £15 optional extra.

The trouble is with all the separate receipts is that they often have all your personal details (name/address/tel/email etc.).

By the way without it there is no official notification of the service schedule or the warranty cover.

You spend £35K on a new car and they can't even give you a little booklet and if they do they can't write in it neatly

Go easy on me I think that is my first time post to criticize Ford

Phoned Stealers & they said they will have one ready for me when I am in for my 3rd Puddle Lamp on 25th - will also stamp PDI
