Seat bolster cracking/tear

Anyone else experiencing cracks/tears in their seats?
Just noticed a small 1" crack in the drivers bolster section. Only has 40k miles on it and always conditioned. I know that area of the seat is the most used getting in and out but at only 40k I wouldn't expect this to happen. I'm not big guy or wear any type of jackets or clothing that would scrape or cut into the seat.

I noticed two small tears on the driver's seat bolster area and mine only has 29k on it. I noticed it after I drove from Pennsylvania to Key West and back. I took it to a leather seat repair shop in Newark, DE and they were able to repair it. Can see the tears at all.

Non-Bullitt owner but I have the Ceramic Leather in my S550 which currently has 41k on it; no leather damages or cracking.

I use the Griots Garage 3-in-1 Leather Cleaner/Conditioner.

I also don’t keep my wallet or anything else in my back pockets and when entering/exiting don’t scrape or rub the bolsters.

This website sells leather repair kits and dye too and is highly recommended in many other automotive forums.

If you don’t want to do a repair yourself, then a local upholstery shop or one recommended by an auto body shop can do the repair.

Also to note, if you look on eBay there’s usually a variety of S550 leather seat cover take offs on there. You could buy the upholstery and do the recover yourself (there many threads on here showing how easy it is to do).
