I don't want the tune that puts out the biggest numbers. I want one that compromises numbers with keeping reliability a priority.
Then you should go Livernois.

The best part of their tunes is the driveability. No flat spots or stutters like other tuners suffer from.

When I called and asked them about there tune on there 11.81 pass and what they had done the person I was talking with was quick to say that was a shop tune that will not be given out to the public that it was a race gas agressive tune that would not be fun for dd
That tune used ms109.

If you don't know what that is. Why would they offer than tune to the general public?

Like sending a e85 tune to someone who has no access to e85 or the willingness to pay for it.

It's not pump fuel

I see a trend here to all the LN supporters....
What? That they have some damn fine tuned cars? My f150, fusion and mustang are tuned buly Livernois. Drive better than factory, make more power than factory and get better mileage than factory.

I'm waiting for the FRPP tune. I had one on my Focus ST and it was as good or better than any of the aftermarket tunes available. They have access to technology and information that no aftermarket tuner can touch.
Another local michigan tuner is working on the frpp tunes, well not right now. Now they are preparing for spring break shoot out

No worries! I don't want to fight with anyone, because it doesn't really matter in the end. I have a 660 hp GT500 and had a Focus ST with FRPP tunes and I have had zero issues. I'm not bashing any aftermarket tuners, even though it may sound that way. I just wanted to offer up some different options.

I hope you don't believe "ford" comes up with the frpp tunes.

youd be really suprised who has passed up doing the frpp tunes recently

Without a doubt my GT500 could make more power with an aftermarket tune. No questions. For what I do with it I don't need more. The Focus was different. The dyno numbers from the FRPP are equal and sometimes surpassing aftermarket tunes. Not only that, they require new plugs which we all agree adds to the safety margin. We should ask those companies why they don't.

That's my only knock on these aftermarket companies, they rush these tunes out and early adopters are there rolling test beds. Plus, as we have seen they make wild claims about the gains.:headbonk:

It's actually a little funny that you DO believe ford comes up with these tunes.

Most tuners probably assume it's common knowledge. You should go at least one range colder on any tuned car, especially forced induction. I'm actually surprised at the amount of people that don't know that.

I have been driving & tuning turbo charged cars for 30 years the need for going to a colder plug can only be determined by reading the plugs. In most cases it is not necessary, especially when you are at stage 1 or 2.

I wish I could explain how the Livernois tuning works.

It's beyond advanced.
And didn't use a Livernois tuner
And they are in a state where it doesn't snow. Unlike Livernois. We have 3' here

Nine posts in a row. You do know about the multi-quote functionality, right? :)

Since you seem to know it all, why don't you enlighten us all with your wisdom. WHO is doing the FRPP tune? All I can tell you is what I was told by FRPP when I spoke with them about the Focus ST tune. FRPP engineers did the tune and an outside engineering company does the emissions testing. Sure, they could have lied to me. Again please enlighten us all.

Bama is headquartered in PA. Are you seriously trying to tell me it doesn't snow in PA? Holy Sh!t this is ridiculous.

Not following this one...?
For example, if you would have ignored me as well, you would not have seen my post in which I quoted Anthony.

My point was: by the very nature of the way people respond directly to one another on forums (by quoting), they only sure way to ignore one person, is to, unfortunately, ignore everyone.
