Hi

Just scratched my one of my PP2 wheels.

Is it possible to fix it? I don't want to repaint the whole wheel... I would be satisfied by just covering the scratch with one of those paint pens. Is there any way to find the original color and just touch fix the scratch?

Contact LMR customer service and see if they have the paint code. Then have a paint shop make you a small batch for touch up paint

So, are they the OEM supplier for Ford?

Find a local wheel repair guy. They can match the color for you.

Ugh…happens to all of us at some point…but yes, there are services that do exclusively this kind of work. You can get this taken care of and it shouldn’t cost anything close to the cost of replacing the wheel.

I scratched one of my OEM WRX wheels and the repair was invisible…the car was still ugly but the wheel looked as good as new. :)

Just be very specific that the wheel has to match the others. The “Hyper” finish on the PP2 wheels is a two stage deal that has to be done with care. I know this because of my recent attempt to buy refurbished PP2 wheels which was a total disaster.

Good luck!
