Got a 2015 eco w/ 85k, runs very strong, no issues yet. Pulled the plugs at 80ish k and they looked great. Car might run 200k; what will scotty say then?

i made it to 38 seconds :explode:

EB is a great car with lots of power and Mustang Goodness. And It's affordable.

Pretty much the same price as a Honda Civic SI but with 110 more horsepower roughly
I'd take the EB in a heartbeat.

Every car has potential problems when you buy used. I wouldn't buy any of these newer cars, including my own, without a warranty. The tech on them is just too much for me. I have 2 current cars\trucks I bought used (Mustang was is under warranty and purchased new) and they both have all kinds of issues related to the newer tech. Some are worse than others but that's what carcomplaints.com is for.

Scotty is just entertainment to see what corny stuff he has to say. I look at his garage all the time and think you would have to be nuts to have him work on your car when his garage has crap piled up everywhere.

Yeah but he owns one and gave it a positive review a while back:

I think he is just saying a second hand one could be beat up and a risky buy for somebody looking for a reliable cheap used Mustang. That is a bit unfair sure, but lets be honest the Ecoboost has basically become the 240SX of this generation, a not insignificant amount of people buy them to mod, and then go to a V8 once they maxed it out, quietly revert everything back to stock and sell it. Thats much less likely with a V6 i think since its not forced induction from the factory.

But yeah i 100% agree Scotty is basically the Jerry Springer of Youtube car guys, he is all about that clikbait and ruffling feathers and contradicting himself.

103k miles on my eco, drive the piss out of it. No shaft play in the turbo and still boosts to 24 psi no problem. F**k you scotty my eco is just fine. Its entirely possible for a turbo vehicle to be driven hard and well maintained and have it last just as long as a N/A motor.

I don't like this guy's any video, even though some times he might be right, but it's just too "in yr face" for me. I 100% against what he says, I leased one EB and I'm loving it a lot. I think just about any car if you know yr stuff and love it, it will return the love.

That Mustang has Michigan Manufacture license plates, so he was probably just reviewing the car that Ford gave him for the review. I don't think Scotty has owned any 6th Gen Mustang.

I originally wanted the v6, but Ford wouldn't offer any options with it, so I ended up with the EB
He’s an idiot. And so are you if you listen to him.

I sometimes watch for the entertainment value, ie the flailing arms.

I watched one or two of his videos.

That was enough.

He's an idiot.

That about sums it up right there. Direct, truthful, and to the point.

Wow that's an indictment.

Honestly, if you're 20 something trying to stretch your dollar AND keep an aging commuter car on the road he's got some interesting info that will probably help you either fix your car, change your oil, or find a new cheap car all together. However, you have to find it in the litter of commentary you don't need. That plus he's got the attention span of a housefly so to me it makes watching his videos really tiresome.

He's not the best source on any kind of custom stuff, and yes, the click-bait style titles to his videos are annoying as hell, but I don't think he's an idiot. That being said the value of his videos is limited for sure.
