Scottish Road Trip

Hi folks
Few pics from my blast along the A93/A939 Old Military Road across the Cairngorms this morning. Probably my favourite route in the UK.

I've heard great things about that road. I really hope to get up to drive it soon.

I spent my day in Wales (whipping round the A470) as that now accessable from the Midlands.

could you imagine the glorious sound if you were just chillin in that valley when a mustang on full chat shot up that road

Pulled over in a tiny place (Dufftown I think), went into the Co-Op and when I got to the tills, both staff and a couple of locals were outside gathered around the car. I guess a Mustang is a pretty rare sight up here. They were all very complimentary.

There are a quite few Mustangs in the Highlands & Aberdeenshire, as you can see we have some fabulous roads to drive on .

I to shall add that to my list as I shall be up in Scotland later this year.

The B9007 from Carrbridge to Logie used to be epic, until they decided to install a wind farm and some "traffic calming" went in as part of the deal. Ruined some great road that you used to be able to drive (safely) at the posted limit.

I did it this time last year in my Cayman. I was still starry-eyed about the car but my driving skills weren’t up to much then (not that they are now).

I think that road would be fantastic in any car.
