I've not been here for a while
You'll love the Mustang, mine had to go last year. (I moved house and parking something that size was proving difficult.)
I went back to my hot hatch roots and bought a MK4 Focus ST. So i thought I'd give my prospective on it
What do I miss
The look
The road...
@Adam83 from what I've driven so far it's a great car, not really push it yet, but the handling felt good on my new local roads on the way home last night looking forward to a run out at the weekend. It's great to be back in a manual as well.
Oh...and Ford Performance Blue :like:
Thanks guys
@Kristian87 I haven't driven the ST very far yet and mostly it's been at a steady pace (not run in yet.) I allowed myself one hoon and she's certainly very quick and she handles beautifully. You can certainly feel that you are in a smaller car. The build quality is step up too...
So it's time to say goodbye to my Mustang. Believe me this is a shock to me. 2 weeks ago nothing was further from my mind. I nearly had the springs/stance done last month. I've just put a set of PS4s's on. New exhaust and stripes earlier in the year. There were plans. Then bang.
A couple of...
Over the weekend I went out early and found myself some quiet open road to do some more testing.
I'd done some tests last week and while my initial thoughts were that the unit was indeed impressive I started to ask if it was really necessary?
I tested all of the available modes but this time I...
Shook out at about ÂŁ300 (including import tax and express delivery). It comes direct from the US via Amazon UK (You'll need the PC18 version which fits Fords)
Check it out on YT, there are videos of loads of cars including GTs and GT350s with it fitted and the difference it makes to stock...
So I took a punt on one of these last week. I'd seen loads of videos on them and wondered if the claims could be true.
It arrived this morning fresh off the UPS van. Took 10 mins to install (and 5 of those where so the electronics in the car could shut down before installation.) Installed it...
Had my Pilot Sport 4s tyres fitted yesterday after nearly 16k on the the PZeros.
Just been out for an early morning spin round my own little Nurburgring of A/B roads. Everything was better cornering, braking, acceleration. All very cool and I'm so much happier now.
Going to have...
This is what I call "Omni speed driving". No matter what the limit its 37, or Omni speed Plus" which is 45. Drives me mental. I don't expect anyone to speed, just do the speed limit.
I agree with this whole thread.
I saw a guy a couple of days ago in a Golf R attempt to over take a line...
That doesn't look like a new panel repair, I'll bow to others if it is. If it is then that becomes a huge job. I have a little experience of something similar... Whole new drivers side...
I had my Grills replaced and bumper repaired last week after a pigeon/bumper interface that cracked the bumper.
@Kristian87 your car needs stripes (love the detailing btw)
We are moving to a little village just outside Helensburgh, west of Glasgow. No better place that Scotland if you like driving. . Picture is the view from the end of drive
The Stripes are Ford standard stripes. I love the Black on Magnetic look, it's not to shouty. As I'm sure you know the car already attracts attention, but the stripes sent the level of attention through the roof. Everybody comments. I'm also led to believe that add at 25bhp. :like:

Yeah, it's a fix, new bumper would have been more than I had to spend right now. Quotes for that ranged from 1200 to 1500.
I'm really pleased with the look, I think she's looks great. Just feels weird having a a GT grill on an EBM.
