What did you think of the LB?

I hope I don't hurt anyones feelings but the chrome lists and the nickel PP1 wheels are no bueno
Agreed, mines getting window surrounds de-chromed and Wheels blacked in the next week or so, wanted the GT type Wheels and Custom Pack is the only way to have them on the Ecoboost.

It's very, very nice.

I think the S550 is unusual in being able to pull off the "sophisticated" look with the likes of Magentic or Lightning, but also can also work with hi-impact colours like Orange Fury or Grabber Blue.

For me, with regards the metallic blues, Lightning is my favourite, followed by Deep Impact, then Kona Blue. Be interested to see what Velocity Blue looks like, as that and Kona seem to be the only blues for '19MY.

For the 18, the lightning blue with the black wheels looks the best

I like the magnetic/black one .. silver wheels are criminal, I think they may have employed VW/Audi designers for those ;)

Still don't think it's worth my 2016 + about 15K, but at least I can still get a manual 5.0 v8 in a few years time if I want to change

A LOT louder, the loudest mode on the 15 is literally nothing compared to the 18! How it should have been from the start.
To put that into perspective, the 15~17 is around 52db at idle and 74db at 140km/h. Quiet mode on the new 18 is 72db. According to Ford that's up to 10db less than the other modes. These are figures for normal driving, rather than pegging it.

American muscle did a video showing the different exhaust modes, and at about 2.5m behind the car quiet mode revved out was 100db, normal was 112db, sport was 113.5db and track was 114.3.

A decibel meter rammed right up to the exhaust tip (we're talking 20cm away) on a stock 15~17 produced, at max, about 94db if I recall correctly. Quiet mode really is louder overall, which is mad when you think about it.

That's how much of a different we're looking at here. I don't think many of us (myself included) will bother with any aftermarket exhaust components for extra volume (but I could be totally wrong!). Tone is a different matter altogether (I do love a good H-Pipe ;) ).
