No, he said that the VIN wasnt available. He did send me a screen cap of the order screen that shows the build week. What I find odd is he has a few other builds on the screen and some show build weeks in late October. One is a Mustang with a build week of 10/26. I didn't think they got info that far out. I'll be more confident when I get Deysha confirmation.

Maybe someone else can chime in , but i was under the impression that you had to have a VIN before you get a build week !

Chances are pretty strong for a VIN on Thursday in my case. God dammit i just hope my dealership is right.

I thought the same, but I see a build week and no vin listed. I could be wrong, just going on what he told me and what he sent me.

WTF ! thats pretty late. I've seen many people with their cars already that placed their orders in July. What is your Priority number? 1 - 19?

My priority number is 10, but it's a very small dealership, I don't think they get a large allotment.

:amen: My dealer's been pretty up front with me, but Deysha's word is gospel! Just hope you get it before the snow. I vaguely remember that 4 letter word, and don't miss it... not even for a nanosecond!

That is my understanding also. Methinks the salesman just might not know his way around Ford's system like Deysha. She deals with it all day, every day.

Hey, Ponies... just go out in the garage and look at all your boxes of parts... imagine some day you'll have a car for them to go on!

Wheels just got here... have 2 unpacked and they're flawless so far. As in perfect powder coat. Paul sent splined lug nuts with a socket that fits perfect. Will post pics later in Carlos' FS01 thread. Now, if I only had a car... a heart... a brain. Toto, I've a feeling my car is not in Kansas any more.

WhadRU complainin' about??? Saturday made 3 months since I ordered and STILL no car!

Seem to be getting scheduled pretty quick now though. You shouldn't have to wait TOO long.
