SCARED TO DEATH OF payments..... yet so over excited!

How much did you drop on YOUR 350, or R, ???? While awaiting for the arrival of my twisted orange R on order.... I have to admit, I’m a little scared of my payments! Lol I’m only dropping 35K but will prob not mind paying after I take her home and stare at her for hours and hours!!!! Anyone else not dropping or dropped that much coin?

Funny- exact same down payment! First payment likely to be while it's in the shop. I am firing DirecTV this week and saving $200 through streaming services and YouTubeTV though, LOL! Maybe once I get the car back I'll watch less TV too...

Look at the car as an expense and whether you make payments or own it, your cost per mile for it isn't a whole lot different with financing rates so historically low. It makes sense for me to finance and keep the rest of my money in the market (well up until the latest market swoon!).

As with other cars of this nature, the GT350/R is a raw, emotional, unrefined, powerful, adrenaline experience. I do not know how ANY of those fit in a spreadsheet.

I put 50% down (bought mine one year used with 1400 miles for 23% under MSRP). I’m actually going to refinance and at local credit union and put some more cash down. I really hate car payments.

In my expert opinion (totally not an expert,) the smiles per dollar ratio is very high with this car, and therefor would be a very good investment in your mental health. . . . Unless you can’t afford it, then disregard.

The stress level of the payment is tied to the income level of the purchaser. For some a payment like that isn’t a concern.

2019 R 3,000 down bought at invoice got an OK rate got premium warranty 5yrs/70k mi free will refi in 18 months end result is something like 28 bucks a day for it to sit there I sleep like a baby
