That confirms the delta, so just an interesting FYI. I wouldn't lend out my street cars at the track to anyone, so you're braver than I, LOL! I guess it's all the racing I do has taught me anything driven at the limit is subject to the unexpected with consequences...
The last photo is the...
Wow, what a coincidence, I just went to Hallett with my Spec Racer Ford for the SCCA Super Tour race. Unfortunately I didn't get much running time before the race and was still learning the track when we left on Sunday, but the comparisons on lap times for the GT3 to our SRF's running high...
@PRTK350 just read your update. I would say your repair is on the fast side of things. Mine was roughly 40 days and many more were way past that. Not that it makes it any easier, but just to give you some perspective. Good luck with the buyback if thatās the way you go...

Engine Replaced under warranty at 1000 miles (manufacture defect). You can find the whole story here: Engine...
Do a quick search here for others like me that have received some form of compensation for their trouble with an early engine failure. I received an extended 7 year warranty (100K miles if IIRC) plus a 4 year maintenance agreement. Open up a claim with Ford. You will be contacted by a CSR to...
Awesome- there is usually a race conflict with the ORPCA AX that keep me away, but I will try to do a couple again this year. If you see the PTS Orange GT3 again stop by and say hi!!
Another 991.2 manual GT3 owner here: hereās my comparison I posted last summer in another thread:
Is it more fun? Yes, in a different way. Both are fun and fantastic cars. I think I said it before that at their heart they are both based on their basic model 911 and Mustang. They are then...
^8,000 miles later my engine replacement is troublefree. No worries and the work done frankly fixed some issues with the factory build like hose clamps, incomplete wiring retaining straps etc. Plus extended warranty and maintenance plan to make it right. Happy so far, knock on wood!
Well said. Iām fortunate to own a ā18 GT3 manual and a GT350R so I make the comparison between a Porsche GT car and the Shelby quite often. If I had to pick only one then it would be the GT3, but I would miss the GT350R. So changing up to a Porsche will be nice but Iām not sure it will make you...
Something about tearing your rear panels out that makes you want to take a picture, LOL! As stated previously, getting someone to trade your rear seat delete panel for their rear seat straight across is the way to go. I do think the red stitching is a nice touch and may get that done one day...
Owned this exact model and color M3. A fantastic daily driver with the high revving V8, dynamic shocks- a pretty awesome car for the time. Not sure it would be as fun or different driving it around now vs the GT350R though. They seem similar in many ways to me, but my memory is fading on the M3...
