The f150 intake sucks for hp... The gen1 f150 engine only makes 360hp. Why wouldn't he care?
Because we don't know if the damn thing even runs. And 360hp is more than anyone needs anyhow. If he manages to get a car that runs, and legal to operate he can dither about useless things as more horsepower

That completelly right. Thats why i explained my situation, then asked for an advice in order to fix my situation.
So, ive bought a salvaged gt coyote gen2 from scampart. When i got the car seems that somebody threw a gen 1 coyote and the didnt even installed correctly.
STAY AWAY FROM COPART PHILADELPHIA BTW.

Whats my best option here.
- get a coyote gen 2 from a mustang? (Last option)
And yet you called Copart a scam and SHOUTED to stay away from them.
Copart did not scam you. The seller did. Copart was merely an intermediary and you chose not to protect yourself.

For correcting the problem I would want nothing other than an engine from a Mustang of the same generation. You've already tried to go cheap and look where you're at...

I have manyal transmission, long tube headers, aftermarket. What about phasers, cams and timing parts?
I would at least switch to gen2 mustang cams. You could also get some new phasers although they are expensive, in reality, the phasers probably won't make too much of a difference. Upgrade other timing components if they look worn.

The gen1 f150 engine has lower compression ratio (10.5:1) vs the mustang gen1-2 (11:1) unfortunately.

If he's in Panama then Copart should have been his representative. That's a lot of coin just to get it to Panama.
Copart absolutely offers that service.
He was either unaware, a lack of due diligence, or chose not too and gambled and lost.

Probably cheaper to have just bought a stolen car from port of Baltimore. I'm sure there are plenty of offbook operators in Panama who could have done a deal.

We also don't know if the harness and ECU match or their provenance. There's another couple grand.

Bottomline salvaged auctions are not for newbies, cheapo want to be. These days salavged auctions are dogs eat dogs world.
After all the fees you are better off with new cars or clean title used cars!

The f150 gen2 engine has a different firing order (1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8) compared to the mustang firing order (1-5-4-8-6-3-7-2).

The f150 gen1 engine actually has the same firing order as the Mustang.

If I am thinking correctly the gen2 f150 engine will have different cams for the different firing order. It may be possible all you need is the Mustang camshafts.

And most likely the previous owner had a modified engine and pulled it and replaced it with the first junkyard cheap coyote he could find before insurance took the car. Most likely the engine doesn't even run.

So currently it's possible you can get this engine to run assuming it's a good engine. Or you can buy a gen1 f150 engine and swap it or get a gen2 f150 engine and swap cams or you could get a gen2 mustang engine or a gen3 mustang/f150 shortblock with gen2 heads.
Thats a starter, thank you

I feel as if you’re in the wrong place to say that 360hp is more than anyone needs…
