Also, Dodge is the current flavor of the month. Lots of videos on YT on Chargers and Challengers....your basic marketing push.

That's it exactly FCA has been advertising the hell out of Challenger and it's paying off. Now if Ford would do half the advertising FCA does for Challenger Mustang sales would twice as high.

Not gonna lie. If I could have found a Destroyer Gray Scat Pack 6 speed without a ton of options - I might be driving it now. There were only like 3 of them on the East Coast. I like the Challenger, the 6.4 with 6 speed is fun as all get out around town. The cockpit is bigger than the S550 of course - but I'd say driver comfort edges towards the Mustang. I like the UConnect interface on the Challenger. However, the Challenger feels a bit porky compared to the S550. The Scat Pack comes with ridiculously skinny tires from the factory. However, after driving my '19 GT for @ 400 miles - I'd be hard pressed to pick the Challenger over the GT for the money. My Sync 3 swap was already on hand, so it cost me nothing. The steering in the Challenger, for me, was a bit vague compared to the Mustang. The difference is even bigger when I transferred the Steeda front and rear braces I had on my '17 to my '19.

But $ for $ the base GT was hard to beat for ME.

Best OTD price I could find on a '19 Scat Pack Challenger (again Destroyer Gray was the edge for me) was a bit over $35K OTD with TTL. Only option besides Scat Pack on that car was Nav. The GT came in $3K cheaper.

Ford could easily dominate sales.
Offer the 7.3, there are people out there who want a good old American V-8.
Offer the 3.5TT.
Reinstate the N/A V-6.
Offer the DCT7 in all trim levels......imports are doing this.
Offer a 5.2 CPC.
Fix the type writer tick.
CobraJet themed offering to the public?

Face it, the Stang is now Ford's only performance car in America.
They need to stop treating it like a red headed step child.

Said it before, will say it again: if I could have found the right Hellcat, I'd be in it.

After my debacle with Lemon Law-ing my '18 F150, I swore off Ford for life. The ONLY reason I'm not in a Challenger is because the wife is weary of Dodge reliability. Funny as that's the same reason we bought the F150 over the Ram, and that didn't turn out well.

I'm usually always anti Chrysler because of their really poor reliability, but the new Rams are probably worth the gamble. The interior and exterior look great.

My new take home car is a 19 Charger with the V6. It has me considering a Charger Hellcat over a GT500 mainly because I can get one and they are offering $10 per HP discount.
So a 2019 Charger Hellcat for $7970 off today.

MSRP of one with the options I would like $66,405. Take off $7,970.

$58,435 to have the car today.

Not have to wait until 2022 when I might get my hands on a GT500 at a non ADM price.

Hmmmmm

Yes I would get the sedan not the coupe. I think 4 door fast sedans are awesome.

So if the Camaro bites the dust, where do the BowTie fans go? Mustang or Dodge(s)?
