No. Those look like they have the potential to be trouble down the line. Steeda spacers are the way to go.
If the springs truly are sagging, as in have gotten weak, and you have to go through all that, why wouldn't you replace the springs? It seems to me that putting spacers onto weak springs is a bandaid and a poor one at that.Go steeda here.
Steeda spacers are billitt aluminum. They will not fail. You will still have to unload the suspension completely to install those plastic ones. Read: you have to disassemble the rear enough to lower the cradle that the spring sits in. Same thing you would have to do for either of these installs.
That would be what I would do, but in this case he wants a cheap fix. However in any case the amount of work is the same. I would determine first of indeed the springs are bad which would mean removing them and checking the spring height. I would also check the shocks as well.If the springs truly are sagging, as in have gotten weak, and you have to go through all that, why wouldn't you replace the springs? In that case, have you considered helper airbags. How much they "help" is controlled by air pressure which can be supplied by a home/portable air compressor or a small on-board compressor. Many don't need any disassembly to install. The springs are not any weaker than stock, I carry my walker which makes the rear a little lower. I should have mentioned that first.
I have that is why I why I had a thread about inner diameter and unloaded length. There is a mayjor company selling the bladders at a good priceIn that case, have you considered helper airbags.
