I compete against these cars, not read forums and watch youtube videos. Dark Horse too. Would pick Supra any time (and base Mustang GT again isn't even in the same zipcode with soft springs, narrow all season tires so when someone talks about sports car in that context it tells me all I need to know) and am actually close to buying one (in addition to Mustang, not replacement).
Oh so we should just believe you because you said so. Got it.

Ignore all the facts, comparisons from all the track guys showing their work, just believe kz instead.

Make a comparison video between the cars like the one Savage Geese did with a real race car driver and I'll believe a word you say dude. You haven't backed up a single statement you made with any facts, just your feel feels.

A guy on the forum told me Mustangs suck guys, he's right and I'm gonna stfu now. (and also block the fool)

2018 Mustang GT PP2 beat the 2023 Supra GR around VIR (time of 2:53.8, 1.8 seconds faster)

It's safe to say the Supra GR would beat the base GT. Might be a better match for the Supra 3.0 non-GR, 2:59

The 2015 base Mustang GT went like 3:05

Don't take it the wrong way, but you react to it like he's trying to offend your family. If you had a chance to drive a bone stock regular mustang GT competitively, you would understand within first few turns, how flawed the suspension setup is for a sports car. It doesn't mean that mustangs suck, it's just the reality of how they come out from the factory. A lot of those deficiencies are fixable, but some other car manufacturers do better job at releasing platforms that don't require so much tweaking.

FWIW the 2024 has the same issue as the 2018-23 regarding flex tuning. The fuel line volumes are defaulted to 0 and not defined in hpt so they can’t be corrected.

What a bunch of nonsense. Supra is cheaper than Dark Horse but a way better performer, C8 - not even a question there - it is an actual sport car unlike Mustang. Same with M2.

Base Mustang with a V8 is not even remotely close to anything that anyone with common sense would call a sports car - 4,000 lb car on a 255 wide all seasons ? LOL, sure buddy.
I don't agree but it's Relative..

I can change radial tires. I can deal with weight. What I can't do is become the size of a horse jockey overnight so I can squeeze my slightly taller ass in a Supra and that god-awful claustrophobic cockpit. "sports" car or not driving is shit with your knees in your neck.

And the M2....well if I need a damn constructed across a river made out of fallen trees and mud, I'll consider them.

On a more serious note, though. I don't consider anything less than a Hypercar a sports car...

Come on guys!...can't go over 220mph before I finish my fart? LoL silly poor peasants arguing over their peasant mobiles again.

Jeaves. Bring me the head of a pig and book of common sense please.

we actually broke about two weeks ago

We had the inside track

No, it was not done on purpose. Fore is actually highly upset.
That's interesting. Why are they upset so much?

On the other hand, doesn't this cracking actually spell trouble for everyone involved? I mean it's never been easier to prove tampering more than this.

I don’t know manufacturers supposedly don’t want you to be able to tune the cars, which is quite silly because again a lot of people won’t buy a car if they can’t modify it

I mean, we literally went out and bought a second car at the moment it got cracked for development purposes

See I thought I reacted like he was outside of the realm of facts and not even to be taken seriously.

Saying a M2 is a better car compared to a 45k Mustang is a no brainer. Acting like it's an apples to apples like some other people here did is a crack pipe - especially since almost nobody is going to get a base M2 - it's gonna be more money.

The other thing is the statement that these cars blow away the Dark Horse. A proven false statement. But they kept going at it and ignored every bit of evidence while providing their own "feelings" as proof.

People like that aren't to be taken seriously and I am mad I got suckered into what I thought was a serious discussion about the merits of all these cars.

Instead what I got was BMW good Ford bad (ignore the large price difference). Can't take these jokers seriously.

Don't come in here with facts dude. My facts weren't welcome either.

I don't buy a mustang expecting a sport luxury car, I buy a mustang for a cheap no frills performance. Ford has dropped the ball on the price and is doing to mustang what it did to T-bird in the 60's.

Not a recipe for success. Evidenced by the lack of sales.

History repeats.
