Hey guys,

I own a 2017 Mustang GT and recently switched the clutch pedal spring for the steeda spring. The first day with it felt so much better and easier shifting. But the next time I drove it was two days later and now…. ONLY when my car is stopped and I am trying to go into first or reverse the shift is terrible/shaky.
When the car is at least moving and I shift into any gear the shift is normal like the first day.

Please let me know if you have an tips/options to go about inspecting this.

Maybe you're just not used to the new spring. The clutch will be firmer but much more precise with the Steeda spring.
what is shaking?
The shifter or the clutch pedal or the car?
Any trouble getting it in or out of gear, like the clutch is not disengaging?
Is the pedal height off?
Did you get the spring perches properly back in place with the spring?

The car is shaking and the shifter. Not sure how to check if the pedal height is off and when you mention getting the spring back in the right place does it need lubricant around that area? I pulled it out and put it back in but is there something with that that needs to be precise?

Make sure the clutch pedal safety switch isn’t loose or has fallen off. See this thread:
https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/th...s-breaking-off-solutions.165464/#post-3366792

Also check this thread too. There is a small pad for both the clutch pedal and the brake pedal. If that pad falls off of either location, it causes quite a bit or weird shit to happen with the operation of the car. This is all the info you need (brake pedal and clutch pedal switch “pads” are the same):
https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/brake-light-switch-near-pedal-failure.122100/

Another known weak point is the clutch pedal box; some M6G Members have experienced an actual cracked or broken weld, which causes clutch issues. Check these (2) threads:
https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/clutch-brake-pedal-assembly-removal.104338/page-4

https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/th...-manual-cars-check-your-clutch-pedals.155008/

Lastly, check to make sure the slave cylinder isn’t leaking or that the hydraulic line has not come loose at the brake master cylinder:
