why would they sell it like that if it wasn't made for that chassis and hood?

Lol, you are out there man. No idea what your purpose here is. The kit fits with the factory 2018+ hood, that intake manifold from Holley does not.

What size single is being used to achieve the 1000+? I was eyeing a 80/88 but not certain on which a/r to shoot for

my personal car, I haven't made a full potential pass. I sheared the halfshafts when I took it. Now I have the DSS big boys in there.

As far as the wheelie car. It's been a 8.33 @ 161 weighing 3,950 lbs for the class it runs in, in NMRA. So just imagine which a diet, what that car is capable of.

I wonder what can be done (if any) to make it fit under stock 18-20 GT hood? Not a fan of the cowl hood.

The stage 1 kit will clear a factory hood. The stage 2 with the upgraded maf pipe rubs the hood liner. So we make that statement that it doesn't technically clear...plus the race version holley 100% does not clear. The new Cervini 3" cobra R hood should clear though.

Ah gotcha. I'd just have a different MAF pipe made instead of running the cowl hood. Just about anyone can make one easy/cheap.

We offer 2 maf pipes. The stage 1 clears and the stage 2 rubs with factory hoods.
