To me, this is the very thing I love about the Stang. From the get go people like Shelby were changing a part here a part there for both looks and performance. I fully get all the purest out there with no fake scoops issue however I also love to the point of night sweats both the 69 fake rear brake cooling ducts and the 70s shaker hood. Only time will tell if Roush has made the right choice with this design

I hate body kits also..they just look cheap.

I don't mind someone coming up with a new headlight look or front bumper/grill.

I hope someone comes out with an EB grill that matches the GT.

First of all its Roush.
Second, Roush knows what they are doing I am sure. Some people like side scoops on mustangs. Myself included. They don't come from the factory, so aftermarket makes them.
Lastly, yes performance does come first. But for these cars, tacked on side scoops are not going to do anything in the quarter mile. Trust me I have them on mine now. With that being said, no matter how good it performs, if it looks like crap I simply won't buy it, especially for a DD. Which is what 95% of these cars are. I wouldn't drive a 1000hp miata if someone paid me.

I have been reading all the comments & have enjoyed the differences of opinion. Right now I would love to have a Roush, a Shelby or JUST a Ruby Red GT. I HAD a 2015 50th LE Kona blue automatic on order & was on cloud nine. The closest thing I ever had to a muscle car was a '58 Olds with J2 Tri Power ordered new & paid for with cash. That was then & this is now. To make a long story short ....my probable last/only chance to own one of these fine automobiles was crushed. I had $5K down & had arranged to refinance my home, but do or die, I was going to own a part of "The American Dream" only to be informed by my small Northwoods dealer that he mistakenly had taken my order thinking he was to be allocated the LE. He was informed that neither he nor I would ever see one. So, have your differences of opinion, but rest assured, many of us, OLD & young alike, would love to have your piece of the American Pie. Enjoy what you have & respect what others have, as well. End of sermon.

Sorry to hear that bro; the LE is cool, but not so much cooler than any of the other 2015 Stangs that you won't soon forget about your love that never was. ;)

Famed Mustang tuner Roush has finally gotten its hands on the latest pony car, the redesigned 2015 Ford Mustang, and gave us a glimpse at this modified ‘Stang last week in Detroit. The Roush-modified 2015 Ford Mustang will officially debut later this year, but we have early specs on the various states of tune that will be offered, including Stage 1 and Stage 2 performance kits.

Styling has always been a big part of the Roush upgrade strategy, and this new version is no exception. All Roush versions of the 2015 Ford Mustang come with an in-house body kit that take the car’s looks in a much more aggressive direction. Gone are the rounded curves of the stock Mustang’s front end, as Roush has replaced the entire grille and front fascia with its own sculpted bits that actually extend the nose a few inches further forward than in the stock car. There are also new hood vents and an optional hood scoop, in addition to rear fender vents and a redesigned rear fascia and rear spoiler that make for a significantly cleaner appearance out back.

These looks aren’t just for show, as Roush claims that certain pieces like the front splitter, rear diffuser, and various vents up front actually improve the car’s aerodynamic performance. The custom Roush 20-inch cast wheels are also slightly lighter than stock, and are wrapped in Cooper RS3 tires for extra grip. Roush models equipped with the Mustang’s factory performance package also include upgraded brake pads and rotors for the Brembo six-piston calipers, and Roush will also offer two types of adjustable coil-over shocks.

Like it has with previous Mustangs, Roush will offer various levels of tuning kits, including RS, RS1, and RS2 for the new car. But given the 2015 Ford Mustang’s expanded engine lineup, the structure is a bit different. RS kits are for Mustang V-6 models; RS1 kits focus on the turbocharged Mustang EcoBoost; RS2 uses the naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V-8; and we can assume that, like with previous Roush Mustangs, RS3 adds a supercharger to the V-8 with various stages of power available.

We saw an RS2 car up close and were impressed with how Roush’s appearance kit looks in the flesh. Although we can’t speak to how it drives yet, hearing the raucous sound of the Roush’s new active exhaust system on this RS2 V-8 car certainly grabbed our attention.

Expect to hear more details on these various levels of tunelater on, as well as pricing for these various upgrades. Roush will also offer nearly all of its parts as stand-alone options for Mustang owners who want to focus on certain elements of their cars like wheels, brakes, or appearance. Stay tuned for more information about the Roush 2015 Ford Mustang as the tuner readies its special Mustang for its debut later this year..

I like the upper grill and the side vents on the front air dam, but the bottom grill looks unfinished, the hood scoop is unneeded. The side scoops are so yesterday, but I like the rear spoiler. Overall it might have some pieces that could go on mine separately, especially the hood vents, they look way better than stock. The Wheels are pretty nice for basically 5 spokes, they look light.

i cant decide how i feel about those wheels, very classy and i like them overall, but not sure if they fit the overall S550 design would need to see them on a few more colors

never really was a fan of the roush body kit designs.. respect them and admire them on the road but not for me. exhaust is a different story......
