Every time a girl sees my car for the first time they always say it “pretty”. The hell... Is this like a f*ing backhanded insult… Do you guys feel like the s550 is a “pretty” car? How you feel about it?

I got this a couple weeks ago. Finally came across the woman owner of a new Ruby EB while mine was parked in Visitors at her building. So I asked her about her car. We discussed choices, including color. Her friend called my car pretty. My first reaction was that it was an odd choice of adjectives. Especially since I thought the first woman's car was more pretty in appearance than mine.

Then I thought it more a reflection on her personality than my car's (or mine). So I guess this might be normal for non-car-people.

Parked far out in the lot last week. Got this compliment: "Look at that yellow car, mommy." (4 year old boy being led by the hand.)

No, my midlife crisis car was my '95 GT convertible I bought 10 years ago. This one is my "Holy shit I'm fucking old and want to own something nice before I need room for a walker" car. ;)
