RPI Needs Some Help

Hello,
For about 10 years we have been selling a device called a Mild2Wild switch.
It allows you to remotely activate the active exhaust valves on your mufflers whenever you want to. The Corvette and Camaro Guys love them! We would like to bring these to the Mustang market due to their recently added active exhaust. If there is anyone near our shop with a 2018 Mustang GT with the active exhaust that would allow us to prototype the set up on their car we will pay them $250.00 and they can keep the Mild2Wild set up we install on their car.

Move your shop to Central Florida, and create an add on that lets us turn any aftermarket exhaust into a remote controlled "active exhaust". I'll let you install and test on my 2015! When can I expect your call?

I want a "Wild to Mild" kit. One that forces the exhaust to quiet mode, no matter what the car is trying to make it do. This would be useful to race tracks that have restrictive sound limits.

Will this kit be able to do that, or will the car still automatically open the valves in track mode or under WOT?

I believe they are spring loaded to be in the open position if unplugged. Also, you need to install some resistors or the drive modes would be unavailable. Would prefer not to do that every track day. A button that would keep them closed would be much more convenient.

That is correct you can operate this system from outside of your car. You can also mount a switch in the car somewhere and open and close your exhaust valves with the push of a button instead of scrolling through a half dozen menu screens.

Oh, In that case there is a whole bunch of remote switches I'd like. Car manufacturers are starting to rely too much on burying everything in menus.

I wish those toggle switches were actually useful instead of mostly for show.

Great news!
A forum member from Cleveland is planning to come to our shop Friday and let us work on his car. So hopefully in the next week or two, we should have these ready for sale.
