Roush vs Ford Performance? Differences--same?

Ok so both Roush AND Whipple have CA legal CARB EO#? I’m leaning towards this route, Ford dealer will install including any added cooling kits, to retain my factory warranty plus any addtl SC warranty.

Thoughts on this? Mine is 80% tracked. Thanks.

I would call Lebanon Ford Peformance, they installed my Roush blower 750hp and did an excellent job which included the 3/36 powertrain warranty.

They are about 3 hours away from me, but in the grand scheme of things that's not too bad

I was just on their website and it said to contact Milton Huges...just tried to call and got voice mail, but I am going to follow up with an email- their pricing is great on it....and my wife just said "go ahead a schedule it"...today is gonna be an expensive day at out house, we just ordered the Clinched ST-S550 - Clinched Spider Tops for her 21' Vert this morning....

You may want to read the warranty information carefully. Your Ford powertrain warranty will no longer be in tact. It will be replaced by the Roush or Whipple powertrain warranty. Typically those are 3years/36k miles from the in service date, not the date from which you install the supercharger. So if your car is a year old with 15k miles on it when you install the supercharger, the Roush or Whipple warranty would cover another 2 years or 21k miles.

There may also be exclusions about running the car on a track.

Very good point, thx. I will talk it over with the FP tech at the dealer I’m working with, who quoted me the install price of the Stage 2 Roush SC pkg with that 3yr/36000mi warranty.

Which Ford dealer in Cali? I ended up going to Galpin Auto Sport but the really aren't a Ford dealer but a subsidiary of Galpin Ford. All the local dealers won't touch Ford Racing installs at all here in the Los Angeles area. To much warranty work...don't know what I make of that.

Had a feeling it might be them. BTW which Ken Grody? Buena Park or Carlsbad? I want to do a 4.09 ring and pinion install. Do you think they would do it? I live in El Segundo...I know they are going to need the car for a few days.

Spoke with Jacob this morning- now its just a waiting game for the weather to get a bit warmer- my summer time only tires are not going to do well in our current -10 temps on a 180 mile drive...can't wait to get my car down to them!

Awesome man, for the price you cant beat it, they are real reputable, you are going to be blown away at how it pulls.....like a freight train!! I bought mine sight unseen brand new and had it shipped, then shipped my trade from Florida.....everything done over email.....crazy!
