Shortly after I take delivery (soon), will upgrade the intake. My question is in regards to the hardware required to flash the PCM.
The SAE J2534 device, what is a reasonable source for this device. I'm seeing 1k plus for the price tag. Don't think I need that investment, for a one shot deal. Asking if there is a simpler device that would allow the Roush PCM flash to be done?
However if no, the next question becomes. Installing the cold air intake, driving with factory settings. Any down side to that, specifying this would be temporary like under 100 miles on the outset.
