Hi all,
Dont have my 2021 GT yet with auto. I was considering the Ford performance s/c as its covered by 3/36 if you get installed by authorized dealer...anyone do this ford performance upgrade thru a dealer? If so, what was the install cost and how was the driveability of the car afterwards? Any issues.

Sorry in advance if this has been asked b4.
Tks

Perfect, thanks for the heads up.
I live in the sarasota/bradenton area...anyone have a recommendation for a good dealer to install. No issue with going up to Tampa if necessary.

I got the Roush Phase II on my 2021 installed by dealer. $8,000 installed.

Keep in mind the 3/36 is from car date of purchase / mileage not from the point you get the blower. So if that's important then you'd be best served to to basically get the sc the same time as you buy the car.

I received a message back from one of the dealers I contacted in Tampa Florida regarding the install of a supercharger on my 2021 GT that is yet to come in.
Here is the message:
The order time for a Roush Super Charger Phase 2 is running about 5 to 6 weeks. We would need your vehicle for 3 days in which I can provide you with a loaner while getting installed. It runs $9,789 plus tax. (that includes all parts, labor, fluids, etc.)
With tax that will put me at around $10.5K out the door. Seems a bit high to me, what are your thoughts? Thanks.

That's high. But I think it's standard.

Best bet is to try to get the dealer you are buying the car from to work a deal on the blower, but, if you’ve already negotiated the price it may not work out.

Seperate dealers...dealer where I bought the car is not a Roush dealer.

It does not have to be a Roush dealer that installs the supercharger. Do yourself a favor and buy the roush phase 2 supercharger. It is definitely the better buy.

I want the 3/36 warranty coverage. It is my understanding it needs to be installed by a Roush authorized dealer.

Putting the price aspect aside, is there any mechanical or software difference between Roush and FP supercharger kits? I couldn't figure out any real difference, but that's just looking at specs and pictures quickly.

It has to be installed by an ASE certified technician. It does not have to be a Roush dealer.
