Here are some pictures of the quad tip which is prepped for the active. You can see on the inner tips that its bolted on at the muffler itself, so you would remove that tip, unbolt the blockoff plate and then attach the valve where that block off plate you remove was located and reinstall the tip.
Thanks, good info Kyle and pictures are worth a thousand words as they say.
If I don't end up getting the GT350 I will definitely like to go with this set-up for the GT.

Edit: I will probably also take a close look at the Corsa quad. I like their RSC no drone technology.

The kit you see on the web link posted is prepped for active. So there is no valve or wiring etc. its just the quad tip setup that would allow you to leave the plate on and have a quieter sound or remove it and have the louder sound all the time. The rest of system should be coming out fairly soon.

this is pretty much what i'm looking for. I heard a 14 borla/roush exhaust, and as nice as they were, a bit TOO loud for me. especially dropping off gf at night at 3am in her neighbourhood and her asian dad, or even coming back home late at night...

but the 15 exhaust is a bit too quiet as well. some questions i hope someone can answer

1) is this the only option we have to remotely control the noise level? like turn off exhaust at night kinda thing

2) how much is this expected to cost?

3) because of the quad tips, someone was saying we'll need to purchase the roush rear bumper as well?

I would def like to know what the quad exhaust is going to sound like I don't personally want a exhaust that is loud but love the quad set up. also with just the quad set up is there a way to make it louder/quiet with out the active set up like a valve that you can try and adjust when you obtain the exhaust. Also if you buy the active ready quad tip can you upgrade to active later.. thanks

Yes, so far

2) how much is this expected to cost?

I would expect somewhere in the range of 15 to 1800. that's around the range of Chevy's NPP exhaust.

3) because of the quad tips, someone was saying we'll need to purchase the roush rear bumper as well?

Yes you will need to buy that also.

whoa why so much for an exhaust? aren't they usually like 400-600 (axleback, not catback..i just learnt these things). is the technology and remote controlled features the main cost?

do u happen to know the approximate cost of the rear roush rear bumper? sorry too lazy to check..

Part #: 421894
$207.99

This requires a Premium package rear valance to install.

I am going off what NPP costs from the factory for pricing. You have to remember that the muffler itself will have a straight through exhaust tunnel, and the butterfly valve will close it off and run it through another channel and out the other exhaust head. I don't know if the solenoid/butterfly valve comes with the exhaust already and can be manually set, and later on the solenoid will be electronically activated. If they are using a cell phone, iTouch etc., then it might be wireless and needs to have a wireless sender receiver connected to the solenoid. This then needs to be weather proofed and somewhat user proofed. Or it might be a direct connect to a switch in the car, makes it less expensive, but not as neat.

Then it could be in the vehicles PCM so that the user can go to the center display and in the menus, set up the RPM to open close. This would cost more also.

So in the end with the last version being used by Chevy. I would still stay in the 15 to 1800 range for a complete kit. Also to note aftermarket install on Vette NPP (In the C6) does not integrate into the cars programming (Vacuum activated), but needs a "mild to wild switch setup.

Seems like more trouble than its worth imho. Cool idea, I am a bit pessimistic on the cost, the labor, and the functionality of it. Guess well see when it comes out.
