I was in the same decision between the 2. I went with MBRP instead of roush, because I think just my opinion that roush is a little more on the raspy side. I have the street version on and I love the deep rumble sound that it gives. The other plus side is no cutting not that is a big deal. I think bang for buck the MBRP is the way to go. But if you don't like the sound of the Roush axle backs you can still in the future throw in a H or X pipe. either way you go you'll be happy. If I were to buy again I would only maybe go with the race version but I have a new born coming in a few months this is the only reason for me getting the street version. I'll try to post more videos later when my buddy stops over
Some videos would be great. It is hard to judge sometimes from videos only though. Id consider the race but I don't want it too loud. How much louder than the stock exhaust is the street version?

The Roush axle back and MBRP catback were my final two choices. Roush won for me, because of the awesome looking adjustable tips, compact design (weight savings), stainless, and because I wanted the option of going louder in the future with an H pipe. After having the Roush setup on the car for the past two weeks, it's my new favorite sound from a V8 Mustang! The car is noticeably louder than stock at idle and with "normal" driving, but much louder if you stand on it hard. I have no regrets!

For some reason a lot of S550 exhaust sounds raspy in the video, but in real life it doesn't sounds like that at all. Roush sounds much much nicer in person.

I think you sold me on the Roush. Especially since I can always go louder with an H pipe if I wanted to.

You could, Roush does lose its tone a little when you start messing with the rest of the exhaust system.

If you need any help or have any questions just give us a shout!

I seriously doubt I will even go with an H pipe after hearing the sweet tone of this axle back. If you go with the Roush, please post up your feedback after the installation. I'd be curious to hear what you think of it, especially after living with it for a few days. Mine seem to sound better, now, even though I'm not sure these mufflers can really "break in."

Ok. this is me right now. Was about to buy the mbrp street but beefcake never got back to me :(

maybe that's a sign. someone said here the roush sounds raspy but all the exhausts sound raspy over videos, but that the roush sounds a lot deeper in person.

so, anyone who's gotten the roush, any complaints? is it raspy at all? WOT?

And how does WOT compare between the two?

No rasp in my opinion but I have an H pipe resonator delete . I think it has a nice deep rumble to it . I have the Roush AB . I also got them from Beefcake

Sorry I never updated you guys on what I thought of the roush ab once I installed it. I love it. People comment on it all the time. It's the perfect volume. Noticeably louder than stock. Very loud wot. But overall not too loud. I considered an H pipe but feel like it might be too loud for where I live. I can't speak on the mbrp since I haven't heard it in person but you deff can't go wrong with the roush

Nice! Thanks for the update. How do you consider the tone. Deeper or raspier?
