I would go Roush. Their air box looks much better than K&N. I did install JLT intake last night and very satisfied with it. If you don't mind me asking, how good of a price you getting?

With K&N its over 100.00 off with roush it was unsure if they were willing to match it yet or get somewhere in the ball park so.

I have the Roush and I love it. Sounds awesome and the install was easy. I would say go with the roush but you can't go wrong with either one.

Ours certainly has a much better OEM appearance, just took a look at the K&N. I can point you towards a distributor that would be able to help you purchase below MSRP

Let me know

It baffles me how much people care about the way the CAI's look. I mean I get it to a certain extent, but they all look pretty similar and at the end of the day it's under the hood. It's not like anyone is gonna say "man that CAI is ugly" while you're driving lol. I care about the sound much more than anything and for that I say go with the Roush

Yah I really don't care about the way it looks I mean I went with roush based on its power gain and sound and the fact that they were willing to hook me up for a great deal, Because I don't really like the way it looks but I like what it is.

when I pop the hood, I don't want to see a paper filter in a cereal bowl..lol. id rather have the JLT or the C&L.....but that's just a personal opinion....I mean, its obvious the roush was designed to work well...just not real pleasing to the eye.

this is why I designed/built my own intake....first of all im cheap/broke...second, I like DIY projects, and 3rd, I felt there were some sacrafices the aftermarket intakes were making for the sake of ease of design and profit, which I fully understand, but the result is extra bends ect because they are all using airboxes/heat shields designed to work with the EB and GT, which have different throttle body angles, or in the case of the EB, turbo inlet. hence the rather abrupt turns in most of them. now before you start yelling that I have a hot air intake, I did lots of experimenting with and without a heat shield, and even compared IAT's to the stock airbox. so long as your not sitting in traffic, my IAT's are literally the same as using a stock style air box or heat shield. my filter is right behind the stock air inlet, and with a GT grill, im getting direct airflow onto my filter.....I know cause theres a huge dirty area where the air is slamming into it, with bugs and everything lololol. now, this setup probably would work as good with a stock grille though. it did improve my 1/4 mile times about .3 tenths over the stock air box/filter...weather or not that's better than any of the aftermarket intakes, I don't know...because I havnt tried any of them. but I would venture to say they are all pretty similar in gains. more of a price/looks war than anything else

Yah I am pretty pumped to hear it from what I understand the k&n and roush were loud so that's one of the reasons I wanted one of the 2 beside the fact that most the other ones besides jlt were well over priced by 100.00.
