I am wondering if any member here has installed this IC pump from the GT500 on their Roush charged GT? If so what did you use the hoses supplied by Roush and was it plug n play?

The connector and mounting bracket are different, the hose connections are the same size as the Bosch pump. You can buy a pigtail from Ford to plug in to pump. I just did the swap myself.

Yes. The Bosch pump has a 2 pin connector and the GT500 pump has a 4 pin connector. Get one of these and replace your existing connector, just use two outside wires. You could also just make a jumper harness to prevent cutting.

Thanks for quick response. Now on to search for a jumper harness. Do you have any leads on one?

You would have to build one with the pigtail in pic and a pigtail for Bosch pump and connect the two. I just cut the connector that I had off and replaced with one in pic. Grote makes a all in one solder heat shrink connector that works well.

I am going to call Painless Wiring in the morning. I looked on their website but did not see what I am looking for. Again thanks for your wizardry.

How does it compare to Whipple's new pump?

I believe the pumps are very similar.
Well would it be easier to mount the Whipple pump or the GT500 pump? In other words would the Whipple pump be plug n play?

I pretty sure it comes with jumper harness.

Again you are correct. This is off their upgrade kit description. "Each upgrade kit consist of the IC pump and plug and play pigtail for an easy installation."

Nope. That's only if you have the Whipple blower and their tune. You would have to find your own power source.. Switch and ground
