Not a fan.

The whole purpose of a rock shield is to deflect road debris from not only the rocker, but other various panels behind the blocker.

My research in these led me to purchase RokBlokz because they also deflect in the angle of the mirror. They also have substantial protection going up and outside the fender to protect the mirror.

Three pics below:
1st pic is the CJ part. Notice how shallow the product sticks out from the side and how it tucks in below the curve of the fender. Coverage is suspect.

2nd pic is RokBlokz on my car. Notice how much they stick out and traverse the leading rear curve of the fender.

3rd pic - I used a piece of trim to crudely illustrate the angle of coverage from the RokBlokz. The magenta arrow shows where the RokBlokz tucks inside the curve of the fender. As you can see it’s above the angle from the fender to the mirror, which provides good deflection coverage.

Just my $0.19999.

I have the Rokblokz and love the. Only problem I’ve had is after two years (my car gets driven in winter too) my driver front upper mount won’t hold anymore. But I am am going to buy another full set. Install the fronts and have a spare rear set

This evening I did a complete detail on HEPR 178. When I assessed the RokBlokz there were some small rocks behind them, trapped btw the fender paint and the back of the RokBlokz. If this is the small price I have to pay for huge coverage I’ll take it.
