Not a fan.How does everyone like the CJ Pony Splash Shield NXT? They look small which I'm looking for and simple to install?
Thanks for all the posts and info everyone! I ordered the Rockblokz last night due to the strong recommendations here. Not a fan.
The whole purpose of a rock shield is to deflect road debris from not only the rocker, but other various panels behind the blocker.
My research in these led me to purchase RokBlokz because they also deflect in the angle of the mirror. They also have substantial protection going up and outside the fender to protect the mirror.
Three pics below:
1st pic is the CJ part. Notice how shallow the product sticks out from the side and how it tucks in below the curve of the fender. Coverage is suspect.
2nd pic is RokBlokz on my car. Notice how much they stick out and traverse the leading rear curve of the fender.
3rd pic - I used a piece of trim to crudely illustrate the angle of coverage from the RokBlokz. The magenta arrow shows where the RokBlokz tucks inside the curve of the fender. As you can see it’s above the angle from the fender to the mirror, which provides good deflection coverage.
Just my $0.19999.
