This is the first time I tried it but I am not very happy..
See how it cannot create a smooth film on my car... This is most likely due to repellent property of Carpro Gliss... Tried 3 layers and some holes still did not fill...anyone noticed something similar?

I use it on my car with no issue. My car is not coated.

I’m not surprised with the OP’s results with a hydrophobic ceramic coating. It is doing the job really well.

i had same exact experience.... the bonus (for me anyway) was that it either left a residue that killed the effect of the coating, or removed the ceramic coating when i removed it, so I will never use that shit again.

Lesson learned brother. It is kind of strange that it worked in some places and not in others though.

Also, the Road Warrior people DID refund me on the product, so decent customer service, but still out more on the value of what it ruined IMO.

Hey now you are scaring me... you mean that it removed the coating when you tried to pull it off? I haven't removed the goop yet, came back last night from my track day...

I believe it did. I ended up hand polishing the area and putting some carpro reload on it to get some of the coating properties back. One factor on my end though was the coating was prob only a week or two old when i did this, should have been cured but maybe that variable didn't help things.

Let us know how it is when you peel it off! maybe if two of us have that same issue they will pay some cash to let us have the cars re-coated. I told the company about this issue spring of 2019 and i'm guessing they didn't add any warnings to the product labels or anything.

Thanks; what coating was that ? Cquartz topped with Gliss should hard almost like glass, hard to remove. Actually, I let it flash for too long in a small area on the fender, and I can't remove it at all... tried all kinds of things.... I'll report back in a bit, I'll try to hose it down and take it off soon.

I believe it was cquartz pro or something but i don't think there was gliss on top, had a shop do it but it's been over a year so not positive!

The guys at road warrior replied saying that they will refund if I send them some photos of the product applied.. I sent them the picture above, now waiting for their reply.

It came off ok... didn't protect all the surface but I see some bugs/black tar and rubber coming off the white stripes, so it did some good. I was thinking of covering my whole bonnet with film, but you can't cover the stripes, and I still need to protect my stripes, hence the idea with this thing.

You can't tell anymore from the pic, but it had big holes in it even though I used both bottles to cover my hood and fenders... I am still to wash the car, but no damage done to the ceramic coating...
