So I made the mistake of taking my new mustang through automatic Carwash. When I was cleaning my rims and tires I noticed that there was a scrape/Guage in my rim (20inch) upgraded rims. Anyone no of ANY way to fix this? Lesson learned do not use automatic Car wash

I NEVER use an automatic car wash. Have not in years, due to this exact risk. Im sorry to hear this man, it does suck. Could you contact the manufacturer and see if they are easily repairable? Maybe they can cut you a deal on a new wheel since that situation is unfortunate and not your fault? There are ways to get it refinished/repaired, but sometimes it is just worth the time to go ahead and buy a new wheel. Hope this helps.

Anyone know of ANY way to fix this?
Wheel repairs companies can refinish the wheel to look brand new. Costs are usually around $150.00. Uncertain where you are, but these wheel repair companies can pre-ship you a box, you return the damaged wheel, they'll ship back to you within 1-2 days of receipt.

Find a good wheel shop and they can probably fix it or at least make it much less noticeable.

OK thanks everyone...never will use a auto car wash again! It's not to noticeable but just urks me cuz I know it's there. I think I may just have to live with it for now Cuz it's not worth the repair fees as of now. Maybe down the road of it gets anymore damage (hopefully not) I will look into repairs. thanks again.

Auto car washes suck bad! Especially the ones with the spinning brushes! Destroyed two cars that way.. took me twice to learn my lesson. The spray one only arent too bad i guess but you take the risk if it dont measure the size of your car but the one with the brushes will grind dirt and little stone particles all through your paint. Destroyed my black 300 srt8 that way and my dark grey metalic WRX.. Never again!

That doesnt look that bad man, honestly. I would personally let it ride, but if it bothers you that much, i would also think a decent body/paint repair shop could touch that right up!

Even though I highly recommend you NOT to use an automatic car wash, but if you absolutely MUST, make sure it is 100% touchless. That way nothing can get damaged.

"Destroyed"?

Hyperbole much?

From m-w.com:

Destroy: to cause (something) to end or no longer exist : to cause the destruction of (something) : to damage (something) so badly that it cannot be repaired

Which of those 3 things did the car wash do to your two cars?

Yeah I think the kid that was guiding my car in wasn't paying attention because I felt the back tire kind of rub wen I pulled in. Never again. Time to purchase a bucket and a sponge and do it myself!

Yeah, that doesn't looks too bad. That can be easily fixed. My wife scraped a curb around the entire wheel in her car and we had it fixed for $100. It looked like new when we got it back.
