I was told by Ryan over the phone so I hope it is. I haven't got an alignment yet but adjustment is pretty easy.

I just Google search it and you might be right. I will adjust mine again. Man you get different answers from different people at ridetech but the customer service is top notch.

When I installed Jason's (gsxr1300) I had them all the way forward as well. I was also told to do this, it was only afterwards he was told it should have been all the way back instead. I agree though, great customer service.

Caster angle settings allow the vehicle manufacturer to balance steering effort, high speed stability and front end cornering effectiveness.

Increasing the amount of positive caster will increase steering effort and straight line tracking, as well as improve high speed stability and cornering effectiveness. Positive caster also increases tire lean when cornering (almost like having more negative camber) as the steering angle is increased.

What's the downside to positive caster? If the vehicle doesn't have power steering, a noticeable increase in steering effort will be felt as positive caster is increased. Other than that, the effects of positive caster are pretty much "positive," especially increasing the lean of the tire when the vehicle is cornering while returning it to a more upright position when driving straight ahead.

Ill try to get mine adjusted today.

I reread the install manual and it does say forward as a starting point.

Thank you, I thought old age was kicking in. I knew I read that somewhere lol.

I am receiving my springs tomorrow and will see how it goes. I hope i am satisfied with the handling. This is my Weekend car so riding little stiff is not an issue for me.

Damn you... you are messing with my sensible nature and pitting it against my desire to make better handling!!!

Whereas I like how you describe the handling, 2" drop is something I'm having a hard time with. Mainly because I see how low to the ground your car is and it brings back memories of my Corvettes. Scrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaping across speed bumps because I drove a little too fast and the suspension dropped too far. Easing into steep ramps at an angle to make sure my nose doesn't hit and rip something off the bottom of the car. And the many, many times I have cursed construction crews who dug something up and did a half assed job patching it.

I miss how my 'vettes handled, not missing how it is driving a car really low to the ground.

So I went ahead and installed my springs 375f/500r and love how the car handles. I set my front rebound 2 from hard and rear 3 from hard. My car feels so much more, stable and so much tighter. The ride is super firm but not harsh at all.

I might try 450f/550r in the future but the way the car sits as of now, I am satisfied.

Do these provide extra inboard clearance?
The strut is in the same location as the factory one. With the spring around it, it actually adds a little more diameter (3.5" OD spring). That being said, we do have plenty of guys running some big tires and wheels on the front even. On the rear, we offset the bracket to accommodate a little wider wheel/tire, no worries there! Jeremiah (apex15standpp) is running 10.5" wheels on the front and rear of his car. :headbang:.

Good deal! Let me know if you have any questions.

The cars are low but not so low that they're useless. Our Indiana roads are pretty bad and I don't think I've scraped in one of these cars with our kit yet!
