About 3 weeks ago my car got hit in the rear in a parking lot and today I finally got the car back from the body shop. Well the reverse camera seems all screwed up. First off I don't get the lines, on the screen, that show up when going in reverse and I can actually see the GT logo in the camera. This is actually the collision center at Autonation Ford and they seem completely clueless about the camera. 2 different people looked at it and had no clue what they were doing.

Can someone please take a picture of their screen with their car in reverse so I can show the body shop exactly what its supposed to look like? I would greatly appreciate it.

Ask to talk to the general manager, and inform him that there seems to be one idiot, and one moron working in the service department.:frusty::shrug::crazy::paddle:

I would've but it was fairly late when I went up there to get my car back and almost everyone had left for the day. Its pretty ridiculous that that they told me the car was ready to be picked up when there is several issues besides this reverse camera issue.

You can also see if they changed what you see on the screen. Go into settings for camera. I think you can change what you look at when the camera turns on

Should be right next to where you reply to threads. If I have the option, and you don't I'm not sure why.

Which Autonation did the work for you? If it was the Orange Park location, not a big surprise as some of the other locals had issues there in the past.

I snapped these this morning… It's still dark out, so they may not be ideal, but tried to capture a picture with wheels turned as well as straight out.

Hmmmm....I tried to turn off my moving lines and could not figure out how to. Time for more research! I prefer the straight lines only, not the moving direction lines. I can figure out the direction I'm heading in.

I currently have the same problem. It was initiated by my Ford dealership's body shop when they changed out the gloss black panel on the trunk lid (it arrived from the factory with a ding in it).
Nothing in the camera settings menu will fix it.
Taking it in on Monday morning to have them fix or replace.

If you can see the lines, your heading is due backwards. :)

The moving lines adjust to show the trajectory of the rear end of the car. Comes in handy when backing into a parking space

I'm so use to using a back up camera without them that I find them annoying.
