I recently got the X-Force Varex catback exhaust system for my 2016 GT. Love it and sounds great, but it could definitely be louder when the valves are open. Does anyone know if anyone makes a 3in X or H pipe that would connect to the flanges and bolts the system uses rather than a slip on/clamp design like most are? I would like to be able to swap the resonator back in should I decide to without having to recut and weld a bunch of pieces. Anyone also have any experience running an H or X with these? Would be curious which sounds better.

ALL4SQ on here I know did that. He had to custom weld on flanges onto a Flowmaster x-pipe I believe to make it able to swap back if you want.

Otherwise, any competent exhaust shop can just cut the flanges and straight weld an x-pipe in there if you don't plan on changing it again.

This is also something I've thought about doing for some time now as well. Still want to see a good video of what it sounds like without their center muffler.

As a side note, that happened to XFORCE on here? All the vendor threads say cancelled on them for the last few weeks??

The Flowmaster Scavenger X pipe slid onto the pipes that connect to the cats. The rear portion of the Flowmaster X pipe had to be cut at angles and welded to mate up with the flanges on the X-force axleback. Like Evil Minion said a good exhaust shop can do this pretty easy.

Cold start up with the valve open sounds pretty similar to the 2016 GT 350 I had before this car. But when you get moving it sounds a lot different. Its more low rumble with some of the lack of back pressure gurgle when you let off the gas.
It definitely does not have the angry chewbacca sound that the GT350 does.
If you drive like a grandma with the valve open it's still pretty quiet, but when you get above 3,000 rpm is gets pretty loud. Its a raspy and low ruble sound combined.
It will drone with the valve open but the drone completely goes away when you close the valve.

I'm not sure I will ever be completely happy with any exhaust system. Now I would like to try two X-pipes and see what that sounds like.
