I would hope the dealership would be willing to help even if the car is lowered. If the problem stems from the lowering then they might not cover it under the warranty. You might have to pay for their help.
I had a clicking noise on my 2013 mustang. The dealer fixed it. They said it was the floating pins on the rear brake calipers. I believe they cleaned and greased them and the noise went away. It was a very annoying clicking sound.
The sound went away on my car when the brakes were applied so...
It sounds almost like the surge problem many people report.

In the surge post ProChargerTech talks about IMRC plates. See Post# 82
This is the best IMRC plate info I could quickly find...
Yes, I noticed it too. It's pretty common for Movies and TV shows to use the cheapest model of a car during filming. The exhaust sound definitely did not match the car being used.
On the bright side, I did enjoy the X-files episode.
I've had very good luck with the X-Force Varex Catback active exhaust. I don't have headers or Cat deletes but I still think the Varex active mufflers would quiet down a car with headers and Cat deletes pretty well. The only downside is they are pretty restrictive when the valve is fully closed.
I wasn't saying that I would change anything. I was asking if Procharger could create a Stage II CARB legal kit. I wont put anything on my car that isn't emissions legal.
The new HO CARB legal Kit is perfect for me. As soon as it hits the market I will be all over it. :)
Would it be possible to take the CARB legal setup shown in the picture and install a smaller pulley, bigger injectors, boost a pump and a different tune and get a stage II CARB cert?
Hopefully Pro-charger will offer a kit with all the parts that need to be swapped out to make past HO kits CARB legal.
The Executive order says the system has to use the Stock intake lid/box with hydrocarbon trap. To do this the supercharger would need to be moved to the passengers side like...
Did a little more digging.
California Air Resources Board Executive order D-365-11 Covers 2015-2017 Ford Mustang 5.0
The executive order was issued on 10-16-2017.
It looks like I will be waiting for a new kit from Procharger that moves the supercharger to the Passengers side...
All are great choices. But for me the supercharger has to sound good too. The Procharger pump with the Helical gear set sounds amazing. I've heard a few Roots style superchargers that sound really good too, but they were running really high boost. I completely understand that most companies have...
That's a great question. Would be really nice if Pro-charger would be CARB legal for the 2015-2017 mustangs. I won't buy a supercharger without the CARB cert.
I just purchased a Square 20x10 Sporza Topaz setup. The offsets are different for front and back, so i will only be able to rotate side to side. I think spacers would be required to run the same offset 10" wide wheels all around. I went with 275/35/20 MPS AS3+ tires. Very happy with how the...
I lasted 5 months with the Manual car before I traded it in on a 2017 GT Premium. Sport mode with loud exhaust is really fun to drive. Some days it takes me an hour to drive 20 miles.
My only regret is that I bought the manual car in the first place.
