I have cervini upper and lower grilles on my 16. Was never a fan of The finish that came on it from cervini. Was rough and a odd sheen. Im looking to repaint it a matte or satin black. Something with a nice finish and durable. Any ideason what paint to use?

To get rid of the texture you will have to sand it thoroughly with 320 grit or even 220 depending on how rough it is. Then primer, high build 2-4 coats, then black. If you want it to last and not fade you will need to basecoat it black and then apply a matte or satin clear coat.

Yes the sem trim black is good and cheap and is easy to use in a spray can. If you want to get rid of some of the texture use 400-600 grit sandpaper. If not then just scuff it with a scotchbrite pad.
