We've been on vacation on the big island in Hawaii for about a week now (it's tough, but somebody has to do it). Put nearly 1,000 miles on our rental Wrangler so far. It is a very big island!
Being a car guy I can't help but notice -
Mustang convertibles appear to be the number 1 rental here.
Camaro convertibles are a close second. Really surprised to see so many.
Wranglers 3rd.
There are quite a few GT convertibles in the rental fleet. I have not seen a single SS.
I've seen a couple of S550 coupes, not a single GT. Saw a Boss 302 yesterday.
Seen 1 ZL1 Camaro.
Quite a few Vettes of every vintage, including a gorgeous '57.
Seen a few Challengers, maybe rentals, no Hellcats.
Number 1 vehicle by far on this island is Toyota Tacoma pickup.
All anecdotal and not based on any kind of scientific survey. Being tourists, we've been going to touristy spots, but mixed in quite a bit of local flavor.
