Turbo

Sorry for the problem, but thank you all for the entertainment
We, (includes me) are always looking for a way to beat the system.
Just a reminder, Ford has thoroughly tested the components as a system.
The reason for limiting boost isn't to screw us, but to provide a reliable vehicle.
I have left mine stock, can get over 25 lbs of boost with the right finesse, and am just enjoying the ride.
but I do understand the desire to get more.
This car is part of who we are. Let us know how the big turbo works out!
Life is more exciting on the edge of the cliff

I feel you should at least ask your insurance if they will cover it. Could be a lot more than just the turbo. engine could be pretty well nicked up inside, valves, piston, exhaust turbine, etc. worth a look see, just to make sure.
